American College Testing, ACT is a standardized test used for all four-year colleges or universities offering undergraduate programs mostly in the United States as well as more than 225 universities outside U.S. It is currently administered by a nonprofit organization ACT. The test covers four academic skill areas like English, mathematics, reading, and science reasoning and an optional direct writing test.
ACT test sections are individually scored on a scale of 1–36, and a composite score of all four tests is provided.
